Future Proof your Career

Keep learning and stay in demand!

Tech skills are future-proof. Every industry needs technology, and the tech industry itself will only continue to grow. NZ Tech predicts a staffing shortfall of over 10,000 skilled developers over the next three years in Aoteaora, while right now there are thousands of tech jobs advertised on seek.co.nz and many more that aren’t advertised.

Work with the Best

Join some of New Zealand's most innovative companies

Our graduates have found work in some of New Zealand’s most exciting tech companies, such as Trademe, Powershop, Rabid, 90 Seconds, Silverstripe and Weta Digital. They’ve also gone on to found their own companies all over the world, building new and exciting digital startups such as Banqer, glimp and the Life Purpose app.

Becoming a web developer means working in the field of innovation, with companies that aren’t afraid to do things differently. Check out our Student Outcomes page for more info on where Dev Academy graduates work.
