Full-Time Flexi

This 26 week course is slightly less intense than our 17 week option and is designed for anyone who wants  to study and graduate quickly, but also has other commitments outside of study. This option means that if you are working part time up to 30 hours a week, have childcare, family or whānau obligations you can still study with us successfully to be a Software Developer.  You get the same high quality curriculum, but it's spaced over 9 extra weeks and you get 4 weeks holidays aligned to when school holidays take place. This option is taught via our online campus so you can ditch the commute! Take a look at the course structure below to see how it works.

We also offer a Part-Time option which enables you to work full-time while you study and is 46 weeks long.

COURSE STRUCTURE OVER 26 WEEKS

Foundations

Remote | 6 weeks | 35 hours a week

Foundations is an accelerated, challenging experience. You will study remotely, taking on weekly challenges, and having weekly check-ins with tutors. It is vital you have reliable access to the internet throughout Foundations.

Bootcamp

Online Campus | 14 weeks | 38 hours a week

During the 14 week Bootcamp students commit about 38 hours per week to lectures, assignments and challenges. You will be guided by teachers who are passionate about helping you master the principles of software development, and you'll learn by solving coding challenges in pairs, solo and in group projects.

This more flexible option is great for anyone who wants to graduate quickly but also has other commitments ie: working up to 30 hours a week,  childcare, family or whānau obligations.

Human Skills

Weekly deep dives and check-ins

While we train you to be a junior developer, we equally emphasise teaching collaboration and interpersonal skills. Most web development is done in teams and requires effective communication with designers, project managers, and clients.

Careers

Remote | 2 weeks | 25 hours a week

Our careers sessions will help you develop the skills to land your first dev job and grow your career. Topics include effectively job hunting, CV preparation, and skills for interviewing. Careers sessions are recorded so graduates can review them when preparing for a big job interview. Graduates can also work 1-on-1 with an industry recruiter to help with their job seeking efforts.
