Te Uru Rangi Scholarships - our Māori Scholarships have now closed (15 October 2018)

Engaging Māori in the Digital Economy as technologists, entrepreneurs, innovators, owners and investors.

The digital economy represents jobs and industries of the future, but Māori have very low participation in the digital economy.

In conjunction with Te Puni Kōkiri and MBIE, Dev Academy announced 42 scholarship discounts for Māori students.

Digital Moana Pacific Scholarships - Pasifika Scholarhips have now closed!

The Digital Moana scholarships were offered in partnership with the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment.

We look for Pasifika who want to become web developers. A number of inspiring Samoan, Nuiean and Cook Island students have already graduated Dev Academy and gone into exciting tech careers.

Technology is one of the fastest growing sectors in Aotearoa New Zealand. A more diverse industry is good for everyone, and Pasifika web developers are going to guide that future. In 2018 we had the privilege of offering Digital Moana scholarships to Pasifika.

Women in Tech - Scholarships have now closed (15 October 2018)

In partnership with workplace-training provider Skills.org, we offered eight scholarships for women to attend our upcoming bootcamps.

We launched these scholarships because technology is one of the fastest growth sectors in New Zealand. A more diverse industry is good for companies, products and end users, and makes for better workplaces and industry.
