The programme runs for 16 weeks and is built around agentic coding. You'll spend the bulk of your time on applied project work — with a partner company, on open-source projects — running agentic workflows on production codebases, supported by a curriculum that levels you up as you go.

Two weeks of structured, hands-on learning to get your whole cohort moving as one. You'll get set up with the agentic tools you'll be using for the rest of the programme, dig into prompt engineering, and run your first multi-agent workflows on real code. Daily demos, pair programming, and live feedback. By the end of week two, you're shipping.
Embedded with a partner company, or supervised open-source work | 6 weeks | 37.5 hours p/w
Now you put it to work. You'll contribute to significant open-source projects and large codebases under faculty supervision. Weekly 1:1s, cohort stand-ups, and code review keep you moving. This is where the experience that gets you hired actually gets built.

Back together as a cohort to level up. You'll move beyond the foundational agentic patterns into autonomous systems, advanced multi-agent coordination, and the production workflows senior engineers are using right now. The focus shifts from "can you direct an agent?" to "can you design the system that directs the agents?"

A second six-week stint of applied work. You'll either be embedded with one of our partner companies (Harmoney, Re-Leased, Springload and others) working on production code inside a real engineering team, or take on a more ambitious project. By the end, you'll present your work to peers and stakeholders, and walk away with a portfolio, a professional development plan, and the judgement to keep growing as the tech evolves.

The clearest fit is recent Dev Academy Bootcamp graduates, especially those who finished in the past three to six months. The Launchpad is designed as the natural next step — you keep building, you keep learning, and you walk into the job market with experience that sets you apart.
You've got the foundation. What you might not have yet is the agentic experience or the real-world product delivery time that employers are starting to ask for. The Launchpad gives you both, fast.
Most of your time on the programme is spent on applied project work — whether with a partner company, or on open-source projects. If you learn best by doing the actual work, this is built for you.
We are facing an automation moment in tech. Developers are no longer coding alone, but coordinating automated systems to create faster, smarter, and more ambitious products. Today's developers run agent teams to code, while they plan, review and evaluate output, and guide the system. This requires new skills — judgement and adaptability.
